Scholarship Program

In order to carry on an educational and training program that encourages Ohio's youth to further their education and give them an opportunity to become more aware of careers in the cooperative program, The Energy Cooperative offers a Scholarship program. Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors whose parent(s) or legal guardian are members of the Cooperative receiving electric or natural gas/propane services.

Each January, information is mailed to guidance counselors at the high schools in the service territory. The Scholarships are awarded at the Annual Meeting. Please check with your guidance counselor for all the details.

*Members of the immediate families and persons residing in the households of Directors, Managers, and Distribution Cooperative employees and OREC or affiliated organization employees are not eligible to participate.
