You asked…we listened. To help alleviate your concerns about rising energy costs,
we set a goal this year to provide our members with a new option for purchasing
natural gas.

The Energy Cooperative is pleased to announce our partnership with IGS Energy, an experienced natural gas supplier based in Central Ohio with almost 20 years of experience in the natural gas market. IGS Energy serves over 700,000 customers in Ohio and across the Midwest. We have worked together to develop a pilot program which provides you a new way to purchase your natural gas. This new program is designed to provide you secure pricing for your natural gas while maintaining our high level of service and reliability.

Here’s how this new program works. You can enroll with IGS Energy, who will administer the program, and The Energy Cooperative will continue to deliver your gas, read your meter and send your monthly invoice. The only thing that changes is the price you pay.

Enroll in The Energy Cooperative’s Member Select Program now and you will lock your natural gas price at a fixed rate of $1.299 per CCF through August of 2009. In comparison, The Energy Cooperative’s Gas Cost Recovery (GCR) rate is a variable rate that can go up or down each month based on events in the world energy markets.

And with this program, there are no sign up fees. Take advantage of this special offer today. If you ever decide to cancel, you may do so with absolutely no penalty. This offer is available for a limited time only! Certain restrictions apply. To ensure enrollment in this plan, you must respond by Friday, December 5, 2008.
