The Energy Cooperative's Propane for Life 

Another great reason to use The Energy Cooperative's propane service is that by doing so, you will be supporting the American Breast Cancer Foundation. The Energy Cooperative has rolled out a pink Propane for Life truck. Starting July of 2011, for every gallon of propane delivered by our pink truck to propane members, The Energy Cooperative will donate one cent to the American Breast Cancer Foundation to support individuals that cannot afford screenings and/or treatments for breast cancer.

“We felt the Propane for Life truck would help promote breast cancer awarenessand this is one of our guiding cooperative principles, Concern for Community,” said Bob Herron, Manager of Propane Operations. “For every propane delivery made by the pink truck we will leave a pink ribbon on the propane tank to let our members know that by using our metered propane service they are giving someone a fighting chance to beat breast cancer.” 

The American Breast Cancer Foundation is a national nonprofit organization committed to providing direct financial assistance to underserved individuals for screening and diagnostic tests to aid in the early detection and survival of breast cancer.
