McGonagle Named Vice President and CFO

Newark, OH January 2012: Effective January 1, 2012, Todd Ware, President/CEO promoted Patrick McGonagle to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Licking Rural Electrification, Inc. d/b/a The Energy Cooperative. Mr. McGonagle has been employed by The Energy Cooperative for 20 years, starting as Manager of Special Projects with National Gas & Oil Company in 1992. 

Mr. McGonagle is a graduate of Ohio University with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Management Information Systems. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio. He has served as Controller for The Energy Cooperative since 1998 and prior to that was Controller of National Gas & Oil Company.  He is a member of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPA’s. He is an instructor in the Department of Economics at Denison University, teaching an introductory accounting class.  He also serves as the Fiscal Officer for the Granville Public Library.  Pat volunteers his time with multiple organizations in the community. Mr. McGonagle resides in Granville with his wife Kristin and four children.
