Licking Rural Electric is a not-for-profit energy enterprise doing business as The Energy Cooperative. It is under direct control of its member/consumers who elect directors to oversee cooperative operations. As a consumer of energy supplied by the Energy Cooperative, we refer to you as a member, and you have rights and obligations.

You have the right to attend the Annual Meeting and vote for members to serve on the Board of Directors. The board sets policies for the cooperative and appoints the President/Chief Executive Officer who oversees the management and staff. Our goal is to provide you high quality energy service at a reasonable price and to serve your needs. As a member, you will receive monthly news updates on the back of your monthly statement and a quarterly newsletter - both found on this website.
